Pokémon Yellow Version
By: Ken (Alpha)

Pocket Monsters Pikachu, also known as Pokémon Yellow, is going to be released in Japan November 12th and most likely it will come to the US some time afterwards. This title is like most Pokémon titles but there are some differences. There's better graphics, more information in the monster album so you have all the information on your monsters and there's also different locations for each monster. The game will obviously be 2 player and the additions on the 2 player side is the Nintendo Cup, Yellow Cup, and Fantasy Cup. Plus if you own the camera you will be able to print out the Pokémon album which is a new feature not in the other games. One of the smallest but coolest options is that you will see Pikachu follow you around on the screen rather than just seeing your trainer. If you live in Japan, I'd suggest picking this up unless you're not really into the whole Pokémon thing and if you'll only get one Pokémon game then get this one. US gamers should expect the game or if you can't wait and can read Japanese go out and import it this November. I hope to at least try it out soon after it comes out. Check out the pictures below.

Pokémon Staduim
By: Brian (ScytherMech)

With the popularity of pokemon soaring so high it can't be compared it's out of control. That clue is given to all pokemon manufacturers that new pokemon stuff must be made to keep customers interested in which they produce Pokemon Stadium. The Japanese started it first, but we simply change a few things and add some programs to make it seem better. With this coming preview pokemon falls into the 3-D world. Pokemon Stadium will come this fall soon. This program allows trainers to actually play to what seems like the game on Nintendo64.

The American Version of Pokemon Stadium is based on the second Japanese edition of Pokemon Stadium, which is currently in the developing stages in Japan. Pomeon trainers will be able to turn-based battles similar to the Game Boy color versions of pokemon, but outrageous animation sequences and flashy attack effects will make your pokemon come to life like never before in any system.

One of the most interesting aspects of Pookemon Stadium is that you can actuall transfer your own pokemon used in the Game Boy Blue and Red versions to the N64 system. Thanks to a special adapter that plugs into the bottom of your controller, data can be transfered directlt to the N64. So don't worry about the TMs, attacks, and levels because they'll all be there waiting and ready. Another surprise is that there are a series of mini-games starring all types of pokemon. It's currently unclear exactly how these miniature challenges will relate to the organized pokemon battles, but one thing is for sure the mini-games will probably be like Mario Partys. It'll also allow up to four players in multi player.
